First in Double Glazing

Established in 1973, Glas-Seal was the first company in Ireland to manufacture hermetically sealed double glazing units. Glas-Seal was also the first to be accredited to BS5713, the British Standard Kitemark for double glazing units.

Introduced in 1995, our 10 year warranty on double glazing units is still the industry benchmark.

First in Laminated Glass

Glas-Seal were the first company in Ireland to manufacture PVB laminated safety glass and were the first to be accredited to BS6206, the British Standard Kitemark for laminated safety glass.

First in Fire-Resistant Glass

Glas-Seal were the first company in Ireland to stock and processes all Pilkington fire-resistant glasses – Pyroshield, Pyrodur and Pyrostop.
